Welcome to Talent by Blind (“we”, “our” or “Talent”).  This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains our policies and procedures pertaining to the collection, processing, disclosure and use of personal information in relation to our services (the “Services”).  The Services offered by Talent are used to connect potential job candidates to certain employers.  By using our Services and submitting any personal information through our Services, you agree to the policies and procedures set forth in this Policy.  You should review this Policy to understand our practices pertaining to personal information.  If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, you should discontinue your use of the Services immediately.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide to us directly when you use the Services, such as when you start an account or when you upload your resume on our platform.  Information collected may contain personal information such as your full name, email address, location, current or former employers, knowledge, skills, expertise, resume data, and other personal information that you may voluntarily provide to Talent in the course of the performance of the Services.  We may also obtain information by other means, including personal information from third parties and sources other than the Services such as social media networks (ie. information from your LinkedIn account, if you choose to permit Talent to access such information).  If we combine or aggregate information from other such sources with personal information that we collect through the Services, we will treat all such combined information as personal information in accordance with this Policy.

Like many websites, we may use cookies and similar technology for limited purposes including helping access to and browsing of the site, and the protection of data.

2. Use and Disclosure of Your Information

Talent collects the personal information of users to help potential candidates find jobs and to assist certain employers in evaluating candidates for employment.  Here are some examples of how we use your personal information:

- To provide and deliver any Services you request, and to send you information related to the Services
- To develop and improve the Services
- Setting up accounts and record keeping

Your personal information may be shared with third parties, such as potential employers, in the course of performing the Services or otherwise fulfilling our contractual obligations.

3. Rights to Your Data

Users of our Services may possess additional rights pertaining to the processing and retention of personal information.  If you are such a user and you request: 1) a copy of your personal information; or 2) correction or deletion of your personal information, please contact us at support@talentbyblind.com.  We do not discriminate against users of our Services based on whether they have exercised their rights under any privacy laws.

4. Children

We do not knowingly or specifically collect any personal information from users under 18 years of age.  We do not authorize users under 18 years of age to use the Services, and the Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 18.  If you believe that we may possess any information provided by or pertaining to a child, please contact us at support@talentbyblind.com.

5. Changes to Policy

Talent may modify or update this Policy from time to time, so you should review it periodically.  Any changes made will be indicated by a revision of the date at the bottom of this Policy.  We may provide you additional forms of notice, modifications or updates as appropriate under the circumstances.  Your continued use of the Services after any modification to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of such modification.
